Health Benefits for Police & Fire Fighters
Rep. Kerry Burt of Waterloo, who is also a Waterloo Firefighter, joined Governor Culver at a bill signing Friday to to expand health benefits for police officers and fire fighters in Iowa. Senate File 226 ensures that police and fire fighters stricken with cancer or other work-related diseases get the disability and health benefits they deserve.
