State Representative Sally Stutsman of rural Johnson County announced today that she will seek re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives in House District 77, which includes the western and southern parts of Johnson County.
Stutsman is currently serving her first term in the Iowa House and serves on the Human Resources, Transportation and Ways and Means Committees and the Health and Human Services Budget Subcommittee.
Stutsman served five terms on the Johnson County Board of Supervisor and also worked for the Iowa Department of Human Services as an independent adoption investigator. She has been the executive director of 4Cs Child Resource and Referral and later as the coordinator of the Volunteer Action Center. She and her husband, Roger, live on a farm in rural Johnson County.
