I support the Union rights and this Bill should not be considered.
I support collective bargaining, a living wage, union rights and HSF 117 should not be considered
I support Union rights. Especially, here in Iowa. I am a firm believer of creating and keeping jobs here in Iowa. HSB 117 should not be considered.
I support collective bargaining because I believe that it is a great asset for both management and workers. I am a union worker who pays his taxes like the next person and collective bargaining helps insure decent wages and benefits in a responsible manner. THIS BILL SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED!
NO to HSB 117′. I support collective bargaining. The politicians and media do not relay the facts to the public. Line staff has been cut, work requirements have increased, one worker is taking on job responsibilities previously handled by several positions. Work conditions are dangerous for workers and public as a result. If my work isn’t important, why is it mandated by state and federal laws? Middle-class deserves fair compensation for work with no comparable private sector counterparts. N
I support collective bargaining. Union’s benefit everyone. Please do not consider passing this bill.
Sound familiar? “We must close union offices, confiscate their money and put their leaders in prison. We must reduce workers salaries and take away their right to strike”
– quote by Adolf Hitler, May 2, 1933
We have no need for public unions…period. The only purpose they serve is to shake down the tax payers and fund liberal candidates. Private unions exist to protect workers from “evil” corporations. Public unions exist to protect workers from…..the people?? Pass this bill!
[…] Democrats are promoting the hearing and the bill as one “that will end collective bargaining and take away rights from police officers, fire fighters, […]
Passing this bill would be the start of some equalibriem and accountability to our state goverment. What is the consideration for a union? to protect the workers from illeagal, currupt employers. Who are the public workers employers? The state of Iowa, made up of all tax payers and citizens. Are we so currupt that the public workers must seek protection from us in a union?
