Molly Donahue is running for Iowa State House in District 68, which includes Marion, Bertram, and Ely. Molly Donahue was born and raised in Cedar Rapids and is a graduate of Washington High School.

She began teaching in the Cedar Rapids Community Schools in 1990. She has worked in a variety of schools as a behavior disabilities teacher and was the first teacher to work at Harambee House, an alternative program for students who brought weapons to school. She was later an at-risk facilitator at McKinley Middle School. She is currently a behavior disorders teacher at Harding Middle School.
