Matt Hanlon is running for House District 96, which encompasses Delaware County and part of Jones County.

Matt served in the U.S. Army as a practical nurse and practical nursing instructor in the
U.S. and overseas. He then graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree and went on to earn his Master’s of Social Work from the University of Iowa.

Matt is currently a self-employed provider of technical assistance and training. In the past, he has worked as a therapist at Life Connections, a counselor at Horizons—A Family Service Alliance, and a Group Facilitator at Community Corrections Improvement Association.
