• Iowa officials reported another 539 positive cases and 18 new deaths on Tuesday. The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Iowa is now just shy of 13,000 and is 14th highest per capita in the US. 
  • Woodbury County saw another huge surge of 319 cases today. The cases originated in Nebraska weeks ago, but the Governor could not explain the long delay.
  • The Governor was expected to announce new changes to public health measures that expire on May 15, but she delayed the announcement instead.
