- There were 85 new positive cases of COVID-19 reported on Friday, bringing the total up to 699. There are 80 Iowans currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 and 11 Iowans have died.
- Governor Reynolds issued another proclamation to keep schools closed through at least April 30. Local school districts are developing plans now and parents will hear more from school leaders on local plans.
- Under the Governor’s order, business closures will also be extended until April 30.
- Lawmakers also announced the legislative session will also remain suspended through April 30.
