- There were 123 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the total up to 1,710. There were two additional deaths, bringing the total to 43, and 142 Iowans are now hospitalized. Over the last week, the percent of positive cases has slowly increased to 9.1% of those tested.
