Iowa House District 97
Tim McClimon has announced that he will seek election as State Representative in Iowa House District 97, which includes parts of Clinton and Scott Counties. Tim is a lifelong Clinton county resident and was a parole officer for 38 years in Jackson, Clinton and Scott counties, and has seen firsthand how important smart investments in critical public services are to the health and prosperity of our communities.
McClimon graduated from Central DeWitt High School and received a B.A. in Social Work from Marycrest College in Davenport. He is a founding member of the Clinton County Justice Coordinating Committee and serves on the Supreme Court Attorney Discipline Subcommittee.
McClimon has volunteered with the River Bend Foodbank, LincolnWay Community Foundation, Saber Athletic Boosters and the DeWitt Referral Center. Tim and his wife of 28 years, Tammy, are members of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in DeWitt and have two sons.
