Frank WoodFrank Wood of Eldridge is in his 41st year as a public educator. He has worked 14 years as a teacher/coach and 27 years as an administrator. He is currently the Associate Principal at North Scott High School.

He received his BA in Physical Education from Augustana College in Rock Island and received his Masters degree from Western Illinois University in Educational Administration. He is currently working on a Ed.S degree from Western Illinois University in Educational Administration.

Frank has served as the mayor of Eldridge and served in the Iowa Senate for four years. He has been a realtor, sports official in track, softball, baseball, basketball and volleyball. Frank has been involved in various civic and religious memberships including past President of the North Scott Kiwanis, past member of the North Scott Rotary, River Cities Rotary and Rock Island Kiwanis and serves on the Education Advisory Committee at St. Ambrose University.

Frank and his wife Peggy, have been married for 40 years and have two children, and 5 grandchildren.
