Iowa House Television airs coverage of the Iowa House of Representatives. These legislative sessions are presented live and are unedited and presented without editorial comment.

The Iowa House TV is operated under the non-partisan office of the Legislative Services Agency.

Watch or Listen to House TV broadcasts using Windows Media Player, Winamp or Real Player.

The legislature is currently not in session, but you can catch up on last year’s session video by watching the Daily Archive or the Bill Archive.

Windows: Windows Media Player is on many Windows systems by default and can be used if available, if installed double click on the Audio link of the file you would like to listen to. If you don’t have mp3 player software, you can download Windows Media Player, Winamp or Real Player.

To download audio file: Right-Click on the Audio file you would like to listen to, select the “Save Target As” option (Internet Explorer) or “Save Link As” (Netscape), and specify the filename/directory where you want to save the file. After the download is complete, you can double-click on the mp3 file saved or sync to your portable mp3 player and listen.

Mac: QuickTime is on many Macintosh systems by default and can be used if available, if installed simply click on the Audio link of the file you would like to listen to. If you don’t have mp3 player software, you can download QuickTime or iTunes.

To download audio file: Control-click on the Audio file you would like to save. Select “Save this link as”, and specify where you want the file stored. Listen directly from your computer or sync to your portable mp3 player.
