Frank Wood Announces Run for Second Term in Iowa House

Frank WoodState Representative Frank Wood of Eldridge announced today that he will seek re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives in House District 92 which includes Eldridge, Blue Grass, Walcott, and the western part of Davenport.

Wood is currently serving his first term in the Iowa House and serves as Ranking Member of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Budget Subcommittee and also is on the Economic Growth, Education and Local Government Committees.

Wood is the former Mayor of Eldridge, and served one term in the Iowa Senate from 2004-2008. He is currently the Associate Principal at North Scott High School. Wood is involved in a variety of civic organizations, including the North Scott Kiwanis. Frank and his wife, Peggy, have been married for 40 years. They have a son, Brian, who is a Davenport firefighter, and a daughter, Lindsay, who is a teacher in the ADM School District. He also has five grandchildren.
