The smoking bill is now in conference committee and members are working on crafting the strongest legislation possible that will protect close to 99% of Iowa workers. There are a number of bars & restaurants across the state that have adopted "voluntary" bans and we believe it shows some real support for a statewide ban "in concept". Thank you for your input! Why bother having any smoking bans? The Senate plan is the plan to pass. You all are wasting time and money!! You might as well drop it. It would be nice to go to a smokefree restaurant and not have to worry about my children smelling that smoke. I applaud the RedLobster in Coralville!
